I'd just like to reiterate what a great result that was yesterday. Well done boys and girl and Andy. ( :
It's good to know that 6 of the players involved in our monumental win yesterday are also going to Awaji.

Andy.
The deadline for paying is this Wednesday because Thursday is a Japanese holiday.
Jon, will you drop the money off at my house?
Andy, do you know how to send the money by bank transfer?
If not, I might be able to pay for you until I see you this Sunday, and you can give the money back to me then. Let me know.
Megan, I'm not sure how often Laura checks her e-mails, but if you have her phone mail or number, can you let her know about this Wednesday's deadline. Arigato.
Also, us blokes need you women in our team. Onegaishimasu. The other teams have joined forces, which means we will have to build our own unbeatable squad. I have a few players interested, but keep scouting if you can.

P.S- Please send me a mail, once you've paid. Follow up after Sunday 19th gameHey ladies and gentlemen,
Today the gifu crows had a game at around 3pm. We had 9 people rock up. We were up against the winners of the last minokamo comp, Sony. It was wet and cold, but we were warm and put in a a good hour of practice before the start of the game. Chris put together a great set or practice drills that helped tune our raw skills into a something that resembled a finely tuned V8 engine. (8 players in the team.. get it?) The trams line up was a lil differnt to usual. Kent in goals, Marcel centre back, John left back and Ollie right back. Chris centre mid, with Andy Dave and Megan swapping left and right mid throught the match. Keisuke up front. We got a quick goal from a well placed, deflected shot from the Chris. Then mid way through the first half they their way to our box and slotted a rather soft goal away. Heads stayed high, finished the half well and started the second half even better. Mainted a strong structure and eventually Keisuke and Chris combined well to slot away the winning goal. Chris beat the keeper, and left Keisuke to finish. We werent going to loose it from there, even though they did there best to take us out. This included wild shots at goal that were really intended for Ollies poor nads. The man was tasting dirt for a few mintues until he got his head back on and finshed out the game. (By the way its still a lil tender.................., but thats enough of that). So it ended up being a great win by the crew. Battling the weather and a good opponent and coming away with the three points is a great boost and start to the new season.
Thanks to everyone who came out, was a great game! Now Chris and I have decided to award Man of the Match each week. Chris and I will pick a player each. End of the season the person with most MOM will get soemthing.. nto sure wat but we will sort it out. Now to the decision. Chris chose John for his MOM, John played a great game in defence and definatly lifted his level of play to fill a gap very successfully. Great work John!! I picked Marcel for my MOM. He hung back all game and gave us a great backbone that prevented them having many chances on goal. He had more to battle with than a lot of others, having a head the size of a pumkin from the previous nights festivities. Well done to both guys who have started the season really well!!!! Ive decided to award my nads with half a point tho, i thoguht they stood up very well under tremendous pressure and played a well rounded part in the game.
On to next week, we have a game at 3 oclock against Kawabe. We should pump em!!!!! Practice will start at 2 sharp so get there between 1:30 and 2. Cheers, hope to see losta people there!
On to Awaji. Money is due to be handed in Friday to the organisers of the comp, so during the week Chris will be getting onto you about the cash, so please be ready to dish it off!!!!
Just a quick one for Izzy if you read this mail. If your popping down next week could you bring the crow, if not could you hand it off to Kent or Megan or anyone who you see who will be coming to footy. Awesome, cheers. Will need it for the Awaji comp.
Well i think thats about it, will update the website tomorrow so get on there and have a lil look. Thanks very much guys and youll hear from us during the week. stay outta the rain, stay outta trouble, and stay outta ya next door neighbours bed, cheers and goodnight!!
Ollie
P.S if anyone wants to put their family on the mailing list they are welcome to. Just mail us with the email addy. May be a nice way for your fam to know your still alive and not staying in your apartment ploughing through boxes of tissues. Cheers November 14 Chris v's Ollie comp infoThe rivalry between Chris and Ollie is one that has goen on for centuries. It has been recorded through time, but was recently decided that the only way to determine who the better person is, is to hold a competition. The comp is simple, whoever scores the most point in an Gifu game gets a point. Scoring system is: 5 points for a goal inside the box. 6 points for a goal outside the box, or a header/volley. 3 points for an assist. 1 point for a shot on target. Who shall be victor and receive the trophy for being the better person...? Time will tell.... LeeroyLeeroy, the International man of mystery. Is a member of the Shonai side, but has recently made the trek down to Minokamo on a number of occasions. Adds a great deal to the side, and has been known to fill a gap better than a hardware product. He is always welcome to come down for a kick with the Mighty gifu crows,
